If you like adventure, here is a book for you! This is a family who moved to Holland America. They faced storms, pain and illness at sea, and finally landed in America. I liked the main charcter, a boy named Juan, who face many trials and was very brave.

This is the first series of American Adventure, a series of books about daily life during periods of major crossing of the Mayflower at the end of World War II.
This book is about John and Sarah Smythe, and his journey to the New World on the Mayflower. They face dangers such as disease, storms, drowning, and the Indians. It also demonstrates how useful it was in line Squanto Pilgrims life. That was not as good as some of the others in the series because, in time for the whole boat, but still good. If you intend to read the series, I recommend you start with this.
