So why did those Pilgrim losers need the Mayflower then? Why did they rely on British technology, engineering, and sailing skills, instead of just following their "saviour's" example and walking across the Atlantic? And why were they so scared, if their "saviour" was with them? Pilgrims are always scared of something, which shows their complete lack of faith in any deity. What a bunch of LOSERS!

The first poster needs to lighten up. I wonder after his difficult posting he had to rest up with a bag of doritos. It must have been so stressful. Perhaps he can relax by making fun of some sad people at a funeral or something.

These people wanted a new life, and they had the desire, passion, love and guts to do it.
Their belief in God and each other was so strong that nothing could stop them.
These Pilgrims are heroes, and a great many people today would not be here if it were not for these founders.
By the way, most people today complain about stupid things and would not last a week if they went back almost 400 years.
Our fathers would walk all over us in any time.
I am,

George Vreeland Hill
